"Nowhere to Run"

Commander Rhea Kennit
Pain hummed through her nerves with a mind of its own, Rhea could sense the dark shroud of unconsciousness hovering at the edges of her mind. She craved it, longed for the release it promised.
Krannik left suddenly, leaving Rhea still bound to the chair as the floor tilted in an odd feeling angle. Eyes closed, Rhea let her body slump down in the hard wooden chair, held in place only by the bonds which kept her from falling. At first, she didn't even notice it when someone moved to her side and spoke.
"Let me in."
A voice, familiar.. forcing Rhea to return from the brink of unconsciousness. Slowly her eyes struggled open to find Marisa at her side. With what felt like an unbelievable amount of effort just to speak one word, Rhea muttered "What?"
"Let me in," the counselor repeated.
A low, tired moan escaped her bleeding and swollen lips. "I don't understand.."
There was a sensation then, an odd feeling in her head.. Vaguely Rhea realized that the Counselor was using her telepathic talents to search her mind. She hurt so much at that point..she didn't even care..
Moments later, Torme had worked Kennit free of her bonds, and the two slipped quietly out of the room, searching for some egress from . . . wherever it was that they were.
The Counselor had to support the XO considerably, the long hours of 'interrogation' she'd been subjected to had left her with cracked ribs, and agonizing muscle spasms caused by the residual effects of the nerve induction device which had caused so much pain. Every slow step was painful, her legs quivered from the strain of just walking. Rhea's heart hammered in her chest, its irregular and stressed rhythm making her feel dizzy and weak.
They were standing in a corridor of some kind. The lights were lower than what would be considered normal on a Federation starship. Because she'd been unconscious when she'd been brought to the interrogation room they'd just escaped the XO had no idea where they were or what direction they should go..
Making their way down the corridor, a side door opened suddenly and a guard stepped out. The three of them stood there, Torme half-supporting Kennit as they tried to escape - the guard staring in open-mouthed shock at the sight of the two bedraggled and weakened prisoners in the passageway without escort and unsecured.
Kennit and Torme reacted first, moving together to overwhelm the guard before he gathered his wits and remembered that he had a sidearm attached to his utility belt. While the Counselor being the stronger of the two at that point used her training and strength to force the guard back, Kennit used other skills learned long ago to relieve the guard of his weapon and then stunned him before he could overpower the two women.
The effort to drag his limp body into the small chamber he'd just exited, what looked and smelled like a communal bathroom... then securing him with the bindings found in his belt left Kennit shaking and weak. Returning to the passageway, the two continued on their way..searching for some means of escape. At last, Rhea gave a soft moaning cry as she stumbled and fell to her knees. Gasping at the pain the fall sent through her injured ribs, she rasped out "We don't even know where we are. Need to find a comm system.. some kind of sensor array.. find out where we are then try to figure out how to get help.."
Her comm badge's had been taken from them when they'd been abducted. Unless they could find a way to access a comm system there was no way to try and call the ship..no way to try to call for help..
Her voice weak, Kennit managed. "We should find someplace to hide.. the Captain will find us.."
