"Klingon Ways"

"Aye, Sir," Keda replied, retreating to the Science station. "Sir...later, we need to talk."
"I agree, Cadet; but, not now. Duty is first,” said TogHa.
"Of course," Tal replied, hoping that this weird movement of the sensor readings wouldn't escalate to be a serious situation. She also hoped that she could remember her Klingon diplomacy from when she was an Ambassador.
LTJG Marissa Torme sensed the future unintended indiscretion that Cadet Keda Tal might make, so Marissa quietly went over to Keda and discretely telepathed to her, ‘Please don’t use Klingon diplomacy with Lieutenant TogHa. He doesn’t use those Klingon ways now.’ Marissa didn’t want to reveal too much more without TogHa’s permission, so when Keda looked up for clarification, Marissa simply put up her extended palm to stop and then bent that hand so that one finger came to her own lips shushing Keda from questioning further at this time.
Marissa sat down and contemplated the earlier experience within the silver sea. It seemed worth mentioning. Marissa went back to her seat next to the Captain’s Chair and began, “Sir, I’m not exactly sure; but, I think there’s an intelligent entity or something in there. It’s very hard to describe.”
